The SICK i150RP Rope Pull Switch stops dangerous machine movements quickly across distances up to 75 meters. Operators can pull the rope from any point along its length. As a result, the system shuts down immediately during an emergency.

Install the rope along conveyors or hazardous machine sections that lack physical guards. Because the rope runs the full length of the risk area, workers can react faster and improve overall safety.

Safe Operating Mechanism

In normal operation, the rope remains under constant tension. The positive-opening normally closed (NC) contacts stay closed to maintain the safety circuit. However, when someone pulls the rope—or if it breaks—the switch opens the safety contacts instantly and triggers the emergency stop.

The mechanism latches immediately after activation. Therefore, the system stays in a safe state until the operator resets it using the rotary unlocking lever.

Durable and Practical Design

The i150RP features a strong metal housing with an integrated emergency stop pushbutton and rope tension indicator. Moreover, it offers slow-action switching elements with four contacts for reliable performance.

Choose between an M20 x 1.5 cable gland or a Flexi Loop-compatible M12 connector, depending on the variant. With Flexi Loop, you can connect devices safely in series while reducing wiring effort.
